The IDOL ALP is the natural evolution of the IDOL model, offering the same unmatched balance of weight and strength, with a longer 60 cm shaft that allows it to be used as a classic ice axe.

Designed for classic and high-altitude mountaineering, alpine trekking, and freeride, the IDOL ALP features a carbon monocoque shaft and head, combining stiffness and lightness in a single unit. Its modern head design provides comfort in both the European grip (pick backward) and the American grip (pick forward).

The optional IR 0640HR hand rest can be attached to improve grip when negotiating short, steep ice or firn sections on alpine routes or challenging mountain trails.

⚠️ Note: This ice axe is not intended for long ice lines. For such purposes, the ultralight Spark tool is more suitable.
